I really like this book. I also ordered 1 for my brother. It is very helpfull in helping us to see things in a way that helps us see and to think about. The first time I seen the book was at Wal Mart. Something was on my mine and God had been and still was trying to tell me. I was haveing a hard time with listening. I opened the book and what was strange is the book fell open at what i was thinking about. I read it and God said to me. That's what I have been trying to tell you. I also had the thought later that something would help my brother see something in it and read it. And, God will tell him this is what I'm trying to tell you. Like He did with me. :)Product details

"It's Chicken Soup for my Soul." I get my daily dose of spirituality and not to mention I am a big fan of Greg Laurie's work. I love that he always has a quote directly from the bible to back up everything he explains in this book. Praise the Lord!!
The devotional is always a boost, spiritually and emotionally. Thoughtfully and intelligently written and would highly recommend!
Received one as a gift and was so impressed I bought one to give to someone else. Not sure if it's real leather as imitation leather is very close thesis days, but it looks and feels well made. I did notice one was printed in India and the other was in China. The one from China has a smoother feel to the cover, but the print inside is almost identical.
Not that great. Although I will say I have bought several other books that Greg Laurie has written and loved them. Unfortunately this one wasn't one of them. Jesus Calling seems to be a much better devotional book.
Love it! Great short stories of devotions that make you think about how God is always working in our hearts
This is a GREAT DEVO, written by a GREAT teacher! There are a lotta encouraging pages in this devo. But Pastor Greg hasa kind/genuine way of telling you when there are hard things that God is saying to us.
Some of the daily readings are inspirational but many are simply Biblically and spiritually incorrect (if the Bible is the standard reference for truth). For instance, nowhere in the Bible are we instructed to pray to Jesus. Even Jesus taught to pray to the Father in his name. We pray to God in the name of Jesus Christ. It becomes difficult to receive an answer to prayer if one prays to the incorrect listener.
If the reader is confident in their ability to distinguish truth from error it is an interesting read.
