The story centers on four rich men who will do anything to fulfill their life-long dream of summiting the Earth’s highest mountain. At great expense, they hire a commercial climbing company and spend months pursuing their goal without any consideration for their fellow climbers, the sacred mountain or its wild inhabitants. The deplorable actions of the four men lead them right into a face-to-face encounter with a yeti. Yeti have tried to avoid humans at all costs for thousands of years, but now thanks to the actions of the human intruders, the yeti have no choice but to defend themselves and to attack.

Selfish and thoughtless people cause great harm on Everest and pay the price.
I enjoyed Everest Killer, and it was a nice read while waiting for the floor wax to dry. Found the book to be interesting and informative while keeping an excitement running in the story right up till the end. Yet, the author left us with a lesson to learn.
I have read three books from this author; each is even better than the one before. Though it makes for a quick and easy read, below it's surface,
Mr. Regan's 'mountain adventure' peaks and peeks at, the very depth of simple Respect. As if Aretha Franklin's melodic plea for "R-E-S-P-E-C-T" is transported from Motown to the heights of the Himalayas, one can almost hear the Great Yeti echo, "...Find out what it means to me!"...If you dare.
Some characters, such as T-Bone, are so vivid, I can picture them trekking off the page, right into Mr. Regan's real world.
